International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam (IDFA) is the world’s largest and most prestigious documentary film festival. Our film will be presented this year, in the Luminous—a program which includes films that immerse the viewer in a cinematic experience; films that redeem the beauty of human relationships, expression and empathy. These documentaries are character-, story- or author-driven, and make the universal tangible through the individual. Sarah Dawson—the programmer of Luminous—said, “the (filmmaker’s) observational style allows the stories of the young people to emerge on their own terms in a way that is empowering and generous.
